In Monday's league contest, the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) lacrosse squad routed the host New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), by a count of 13-2.

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 20. Laney will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.
