In Monday's non-league test, the host Apex Cougars lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-3 victory over the Apex Friendship Patriots.
The Cougars now have a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Broughton for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 15.
In their next game, the Patriots face the Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 14. Apex Friendship will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Capitals come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 14-2 non-league win over Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC).
