In Monday's league outing, the host Hawkins Hawks softball team scored a nice 20-0 win over the Carlisle Indians.
Coming up next, the Hawks encounter the Union Grove Lions (Gladewater, TX) in a 1A Region III District 19 outing, on Tuesday, March 14. Hawkins will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Lions enter the outing with a 2-3 record after their 5-4 league win over Overton (Overton, TX).
The Indians (0-5) will now prepare for their outing against Union Hill (Gilmer, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 1A Region III District 19 outing with a 2-5 record.
