The Patriots now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Barbers Hill for a 5A Region III District 17 challenge on Tuesday, March 14. Goose Creek Memorial will face a Eagles squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 22-2.

With the loss, Nederland falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Crosby (Crosby, TX) to face the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 21 challenge on Tuesday, March 14. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 14-5. Crosby lost 7-4 in their recent league challenge against Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX)
