Arkansas High School Softball - Pocahontas nudges Highland

Pocahontas Redskins (Pocahontas, AR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Highland Rebels (Hardy, AR), 19-18 in a league challenge.

The Redskins now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Blytheville for a 4A-3 challenge on Thursday, March 16.

With the loss, Highland falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Salem (Salem, AR) to face the Greyhounds in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 25. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
