Holland Hornets (Holland, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Rosebud-Lott Cougars (Rosebud, TX), 14-10 in a league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milano for a 2A Region IV District 27 challenge on Tuesday, March 14. Holland will face a Eagles squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, Rosebud-Lott falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Cougars host Bremond (Bremond, TX) to face the Tigers in a 2A Region IV District 27 challenge on Tuesday, March 14. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 6-2. Bremond won 16-1 in their recent league challenge against Bartlett (Bartlett, TX)
