Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Lee Ganders (Baytown, TX), 13-1 in a league challenge.

The Rangers now sport a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they host Port Arthur Memorial for a 5A Region III District 17 challenge on Tuesday, March 14. Sterling will face a Titans squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX). The Titans record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Lee falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Ganders travel to Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX) to face the Indians in a 5A Region III District 17 challenge on Tuesday, March 14. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 19-10. Port Neches-Groves won 7-4 in their recent league challenge against Crosby (Crosby, TX)
