Robertsdale Golden Bears (Robertsdale, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets (Mobile, AL), 12-1 in a league challenge.
The Golden Bears now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Elberta for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 14. Robertsdale will face a Warriors squad coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 2-10.
With the loss, McGill-Toolen falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Baker (Mobile, AL) to face the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 16. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 7-7.
