Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) and the host Bluffton Bobcats (Bluffton, SC), saw May River's baseball squad knock off Bluffton by a count of 4-2.

Coming up next, the Sharks play the Barnwell Warhorses (Barnwell, SC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 14. May River will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Warhorses enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Colleton County (Walterboro, SC).

The Bobcats now possess a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to James Island for a 4A Region 7 battle on Monday, March 18. Bluffton will play a Trojans squad coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 7-0.
