In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Chatham Central Bears baseball team scored a nice 12-1 victory over the Southeast Alamance Stallions.

The Bears (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC). The Buccaneers go into the Mid-Carolina 1A/2A game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Bartlett Yancey overcame George Washington (Danville, VA), 18-6, in a non-league game.

The Stallions (2-5) will now prepare for their game against North Moore (Robbins, NC). The Mustangs go into the Mid-Carolina 1A/2A game with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, North Moore topped O'Neal (Southern Pines, NC), 13-0, in a non-league contest.
