The West Stokes Wildcats crushed the visiting East Surry Cardinals baseball team by a count of 13-3 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Davidson for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 14. West Stokes will face a Black Knights team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 2-2.
Next, the Cardinals face the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) in a Foothills 2A bout, on Thursday, March 14. East Surry will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Greyhounds enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 16-3 league loss to East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC).
