The Washington County Golden Hawks baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Glascock County Panthers to 1 in the Golden Hawks non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Golden Hawks (11-3) will now prepare for their match against East Laurens (East Dublin, GA). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, East Laurens was overwhelmed by Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA), 1-0, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA). The Gryphons go into the non-league match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, Academy for Classical Education edged Kendrick (Columbus, GA), 18-0, in a league match.
