The Merced Bears topped the host Atwater Falcons volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's league test.

The Bears now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a non-league test on Thursday, March 14. Merced will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Buhach Colony (Atwater, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-0.

The Falcons (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Ben Holt College Prep Academy (Stockton, CA). The Bobcats enter the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Ben Holt College Prep Academy gained a win over Lincoln (Stockton, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
