The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Merced Bears (Merced, CA) and the host Atwater Falcons (Atwater, CA), saw Merced's volleyball squad beat Atwater by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Merced upgrades its record to 12-7 on the year. The Bears host Central (Fresno, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 14. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 10-11. Central won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Madera (Madera, CA)

The Falcons now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Golden Valley for a Central California Conference bout on Monday, March 18. Atwater will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bullard (Fresno, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-5.
