The Coronado Islanders volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting High Tech SD Storm to 1 in the Islanders non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Islanders now have a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kearny for a City game on Tuesday, March 19. Coronado will meet a Komets team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Calexico (Calexico, CA). The Komets record now stands at 10-11.

The Storm (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Point Loma (San Diego, CA). The Pointers enter the non-league game with a 5-11 record. In their last game, Point Loma gained a win over San Diego (San Diego, CA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
