Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Southeast Alamance Stallions (Haw River, NC), 7-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Chargers confront the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 14. Northwood will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Union Pines (Cameron, NC).

The Stallions now possess a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Moore for a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A challenge on Monday, March 18. Southeast Alamance will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Faith Christian (Ramseur, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-3.
