Virginia High School Baseball - Grafton loses to Poquoson

The Poquoson Islanders crushed the host Grafton Clippers baseball team by a tally of 11-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Islanders now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jamestown for a bout on Friday, March 15. Poquoson will face a Eagles team coming off a 15-4 league win over Tabb (Yorktown, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.

Next, the Clippers face the Tabb Tigers (Yorktown, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 19. Grafton will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 11-4 non-league loss to New Kent (New Kent, VA).
