In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Pioneer Patriots baseball team scored a nice 16-5 victory over the Sutter Huskies.
The Patriots (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Woodland (Woodland, CA). The Wolves go into the game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Woodland ran past Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA), 14-10, in a league game.
The Huskies (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Marysville (Marysville, CA). The Indians go into the game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Marysville was overwhelmed by Sutter (Sutter, CA), 16-1, in a league game.
