In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM), by a margin of 15-5.
With the triumph, Rio Rancho moves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Rams travel to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Matadors in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 26. The Matadors come into the contest with a record of 0-2.
In their next game, the Bengals play the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 21. Gallup will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
