Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL) followers exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Briarwood Christian Lions (Birmingham, AL), 8-7 in a league battle.

The Spartans now have a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fellowship Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, March 15. Mountain Brook will clash with a Paladins squad coming off a 12-3 non-league win over Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA). The Paladins record now stands at 7-2.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 16. Briarwood Christian will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Gladiators come into the battle with a 2-9 record after their 20-9 non-league loss to Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL).
