Bingham Miners (South Jordan, UT) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Miners face the Riverton Silverwolves (Riverton, UT) in a 6A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, March 15. Bingham will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Silverwolves enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT).

The Knights now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lehi for a 6A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Lone Peak will face a Pioneers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Uintah (Vernal, UT). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-0.
