Canoga Park Hunters (Canoga Park, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Panorama Pythons (Panorama City, CA), 9-8 in a league challenge.

The Hunters now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reseda for a Valley Mission challenge on Friday, March 15. Canoga Park will face a Regents squad coming off a 24-13 league win over Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA). The Regents record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Panorama falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Pythons host Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA) to face the Cougars in a Valley Mission challenge on Friday, March 15. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Kennedy lost 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA)
