Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers (Melbourne, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Space Coast Vipers (Cocoa, FL), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Merritt Island Christian for a 2A District 8 challenge on Thursday, March 14. Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy will face a Cougars squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Calvary Chapel Academy (West Melbourne, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Space Coast falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Vipers host Astronaut (Titusville, FL) to face the War Eagles in a 3A District 8 challenge on Thursday, March 14. The War Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 6-2. Astronaut won 12-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Sebastian River (Sebastian, FL)
