Alabama High School Softball - Winston County gets by Hubbertville

March 13, 2024: Double Springs, AL 35553

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Winston County Yellowjackets (Double Springs, AL) and the visiting Hubbertville Lions (Fayette, AL), witnessed Winston County's softball squad tip Hubbertville by a count of 6-5.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Shoals Christian for a non-league match on Monday, March 25.

With the loss, Hubbertville moves to 1-6 on the season. The Lions host Marion County (Guin, AL) to face the Red Raiders in a 1A Area 12 match on Thursday, March 14. The Red Raiders go into the match with a record of 1-9.
