The Beauregard Hornets baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Benjamin Russell Wildcats to 1 in the Hornets non-league win on Thursday.
The Hornets now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Holtville for a non-league test on Saturday, March 15. Beauregard will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Glenwood (Phenix City, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-8.
With the defeat, Benjamin Russell drops to 6-8 on the year. The Wildcats host Chelsea (Chelsea, AL) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league test on Saturday, March 15. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 12-6.
