The Sapulpa Chieftains baseball squad (Sapulpa, OK), was edged 6-5 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Bishop Kelley Comets (Tulsa, OK)
With the triumph, Bishop Kelley moves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Comets host Bixby (Bixby, OK) to confront the Spartans in a 6A District 4 contest on Friday, March 14. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 6-0. Bixby won 15-5 in their recent league contest against Union (Tulsa, OK)
The Chieftains now possess a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity Presbyterian for a non-league contest on Monday, March 17. Sapulpa will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-9 league win over LAMP (Montgomery, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-5.
