The Brenham Cubs baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting College Station Cougars to 2 in the Cubs league win on Thursday.
The Cubs now hold a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they host Huntsville for a 5A Region III District 21 test on Tuesday, March 25.
With the defeat, College Station drops to 5-6 on the year. The Cougars travel to Magnolia (Magnolia, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 11-4.
