California High School Baseball - Pioneer loses to Rodriguez

The Pioneer Patriots baseball squad (Woodland, CA), was overwhelmed 6-2 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Rodriguez Mustangs (Fairfield, CA)

With the triumph, Rodriguez moves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA) to confront the Wolves in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 15. The Wolves come into the contest with a record of 2-4. San Ramon Valley lost 6-3 in their recent non-league contest against Junipero Serra (San Mateo, CA)

The Patriots now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vanden for a Monticello Empire League contest on Tuesday, March 18. Pioneer will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 5-4 league win over River City (West Sacramento, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-6.
