In Thursday's non-league bout, the Pleasant Grove Spartans (Pleasant Grove, AL) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Wenonah Dragons (Birmingham, AL), by a tally of 21-3.
Next up, the Spartans encounter the McAdory Yellowjackets (McCalla, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 14. Pleasant Grove will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a 9-8 record after their 9-5 non-league loss to Mortimer Jordan (Kimberly, AL).
With the defeat, Wenonah drops to 3-9 on the year. The Dragons host Parker (Birmingham, AL) to clash with the Thundering Herd in a non-league test on Monday, March 17. The Thundering Herd go into the test with a record of 9-8.
