The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) and the host Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA), saw Sandy Creek's baseball team gain a win over Upson-Lee by a tally of 6-4.

The Patriots (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Wildcats enter the AAA Region 2 battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Whitewater held off LaGrange (LaGrange, GA), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Knights face the Rock Springs Christian Academy Eagles (Milner, GA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 14. Upson-Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 12-3 non-league loss to Creekside Christian Academy (McDonough, GA).
