The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Stigler Panthers (Stigler, OK) and the visiting Wilburton Diggers (Wilburton, OK), saw Stigler's baseball team gain a win over Wilburton by a tally of 11-7.
The Panthers (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Checotah (Checotah, OK). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Checotah held off Morris (Morris, OK), 14-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Diggers face the Caddo Bruins (Caddo, OK) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 17. Wilburton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Bruins enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 9-3 non-league loss to Sulphur (Sulphur, OK).
