Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Milpitas improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Trojans host Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA) to face the Bruins in a test on Monday, March 17. The Bruins go into the test with a record of 2-3. Santa Clara lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Milpitas (Milpitas, CA)
The 76ers now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedmont Hills for a test on Tuesday, March 18. Independence will face a Pirates squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Oak Grove (San Jose, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 1-1.
