The Swansboro Pirates volleyball squad (Swansboro, NC), dropped 3-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC)

With the win, New Bern improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bears host New Bern Christian Academy (New Bern, NC) to encounter the in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 18. The go into the battle with a record of 3-0.

The Pirates now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to NCSSM: Durham for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 15. Swansboro will encounter a Unicorns squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Eno River Academy (Hillsborough, NC). The Unicorns record now stands at 2-2.
