North Carolina High School Lacrosse - St. Stephens nips Hickory

The St. Stephens Indians lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the host Hickory Red Tornadoes to 7 in the Indians league triumph on Thursday.

The Indians now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host North Lincoln for a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills challenge on Tuesday, March 18. St. Stephens will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 16-7 league win over Watauga (Boone, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Hickory falls to 2-3 on the year. The Red tornadoes travel to Patton (Morganton, NC) to encounter the Panthers in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills battle on Tuesday, March 18. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 1-2. Patton lost 10-2 in their recent league battle against Asheville (Asheville, NC)
