Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Brevard moves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Patton (Morganton, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A test on Tuesday, March 18. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 7-1. Patton lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Polk County (Columbus, NC)

The Cavaliers now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Lincoln for a non-league test on Friday, March 14. East Rutherford will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-1.
