The Catawba Ridge Copperheads soccer squad scored 9 points and held the host Northwestern Trojans to 0 in the Copperheads league victory on Thursday.
The Copperheads now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Christ Church Episcopal for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 18.
With the loss, Northwestern moves to 0-4 on the year. The Trojans travel to Clover (Clover, SC) to play the Blue Eagles in a AAAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, March 18. The Blue Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-4.
