With the triumph, Searcy moves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Batesville (Batesville, AR) to clash with the Pioneers in a 5A East test on Monday, March 17. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Batesville lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR)

The Golden Eagles now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cave City for a non-league test on Saturday, March 15. Greene County Tech will clash with a Cavemen team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR). The Cavemen record now stands at 0-2.
