Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Southern Lee moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Hoke County (Raeford, NC) to clash with the Bucks in a Sandhills 3A/4A test on Friday, March 14. The Bucks come into the test with a record of 3-5. Hoke County lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC)

The Timberwolves now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Anson for a non-league test on Monday, March 17. Montgomery Central will clash with a Bearcats team coming off a 10-1 league loss to Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-3.
