Florida High School Baseball - South Sumter holds off Hernando

In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting South Sumter Raiders baseball team scored a close 7-3 victory over the Hernando Leopards.
The Raiders (3-1) will now prepare for their game against The Villages Charter (The Villages, FL). The Buffalo enter the non-league game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, The Villages Charter held off Horizon (Winter Garden, FL), 8-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Leopards face the Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes (Spring Hill, FL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 25. Hernando will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Hurricanes enter the game with a 5-2 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Citrus (Inverness, FL).
