Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) and the visiting Cary Imps (Cary, NC), witnessed Apex's lacrosse squad top Cary by a count of 18-0.
The Cougars (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Northwest Guilford beat Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC), 8-7, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Imps meet the Green Level Gators (Cary, NC) in a Southwest Wake contest, on Monday, March 17. Cary will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Gators enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 13-7 non-league loss to Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC).
