Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Centennial Huskies (Corona, CA) and the visiting Santiago Sharks (Corona, CA), witnessed Centennial's lacrosse squad hold off Santiago by a count of 10-9.

The Huskies (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Poly (Riverside, CA). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Poly was nipped by Damien (La Verne, CA), 4-3, in a league contest.

Next, the Sharks meet the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 17. Santiago will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Aztecs enter the contest with a 2-7 record after their 12-7 league loss to El Dorado (Placentia, CA).
