In Thursday's league outing, the host St. John's Islanders soccer squad scored a tight 7-3 victory over the Bethune-Bowman Mohawks.
The Islanders (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Baptist Hill (Hollywood, SC). The Bobcats go into the A Region 5 outing with a 1-4 record.
Next up, the Mohawks confront the Palmetto Scholars Academy Phoenix (North Charleston, SC) in a A Region 5 outing, on Tuesday, March 18. Bethune-Bowman will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Phoenix come into the test with a 5-3 record after their 8-1 league win over Branchville (Branchville, SC).
