The Mandeville Skippers overwhelmed the visiting Albany Hornets softball squad by a count of 16-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Skippers meet the Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 14. Mandeville will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 7-5 league loss to St. Amant (St. Amant, LA).
The Hornets (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league challenge with a 5-11 record. In their last challenge, Denham Springs was routed by Live Oak (Watson, LA), 16-0, in a league challenge.
