Blount Leopards (Eight Mile, AL) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Rain Red Raiders (Mobile, AL), 18-11 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Blount upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Leopards travel to Saraland (Saraland, AL) to play the Spartans in a 6A Area 1 game on Wednesday, March 19. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 11-3.

The Red Raiders now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Chickasaw for a non-league game on Monday, March 17.
