In Thursday's non-league match, the host Boca Ciega Pirates softball team scored a nice 17-7 win over the St. Petersburg Green Devils.
The Pirates (7-2) will now prepare for their match against East Lake (Tarpon Springs, FL). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 8-2 record. In their last match, East Lake notched a victory over Northeast (St. Petersburg, FL), 11-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Green Devils confront the Clearwater Tornadoes (Clearwater, FL) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, March 26. St. Petersburg will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Tornadoes come into the match with a 6-5 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Palm Harbor University (Palm Harbor, FL).
