The Carrboro Jaguars softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Spartans to 0 in the Jaguars league win on Thursday.

The Jaguars now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Granville Central for a Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A battle on Tuesday, March 18. Carrboro will confront a Panthers team coming off a 17-2 league loss to Louisburg (Louisburg, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Southern School of Energy and Sustainability moves to 0-3 on the season. The Spartans host Louisburg (Louisburg, NC) to confront the Warriors in a Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A battle on Tuesday, March 18. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 3-3. Louisburg won 17-2 in their recent league battle against Granville Central (Stem, NC)
