In Thursday's non-league match, the host Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles softball team scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Howard Tech Hustlin' Tigers.

The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Sale Creek (Sale Creek, TN). The Panthers go into the 1A District 5 match with a 1-1 record.

In their next game, the Hustlin' Tigers battle the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Chattanooga, TN) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 14. Howard Tech will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Fighting Irish go into the match with a 2-2 record after their 16-5 non-league loss to South Pittsburg (South Pittsburg, TN).
