The Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL) softball routed the host Pelham Panthers (Pelham, AL), 14-5 in Thursday's league outing.

The Hornets now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McAdory for a non-league outing on Friday, March 14. Chelsea will encounter a Yellowjackets team coming off a 5-4 league win over Hueytown (Hueytown, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Pelham moves to 2-9 on the season. The Panthers travel to Mortimer Jordan (Kimberly, AL) to encounter the Blue Devils in a non-league outing on Friday, March 14.
