The Chesterfield Golden Rams triumphed over the host Dillon Wildcats softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Golden Rams meet the McBee Panthers (McBee, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 17. Chesterfield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 8-0 league win over Great Falls (Great Falls, SC).
The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Georgetown (Georgetown, SC). The Bulldogs enter the AAA Region 6 challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Georgetown overcame Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 13-4, in a non-league challenge.
