The Dripping Springs Tigers edged the visiting Georgetown Eagles softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Del Valle Cardinals (Del Valle, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Friday, March 14. Dripping Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 8-1 league loss to Lake Travis (Austin, TX).
The Eagles (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX). The Hawks enter the 5A Region III District 23 challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Hendrickson edged Weiss (Pflugerville, TX), 3-2, in a league challenge.
